Our Program
Our Program
This 21 hour online course teaches not only the fundamentals of divorce coaching but provides valuable learning for parenting coordinators(PC), mediators or other professionals working with people contemplating separation, experiencing separation or post separation.
Divorce coaches work within the collaborative process, mediation and litigation. Coaches can work with one party, both parties and with self-represented and represented clients.
While coaching borrows many skills from mediation and PC work, it is very different. Divorce coaches are not neutrals, they dig deeper and provide support in different ways which is the reason we created this program. Attendees can use this training to fulfill continuing education requirements in different practice areas, start their divorce coaching journey or complete the suggested requirements of practicing as a divorce coach.
Who is this training for?
Mediators looking to expand their services into coaching
Parenting Coordinators seeking to enhance their skills in education, conflict management, and communication

While divorce coaching is not yet a formally governed or accredited profession, we believe in providing the highest quality training possible. Upon completion of the BreakForward Divorce Coach Institute program, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, which signifies your successful training as a divorce coach with us. While we do not offer a traditional "certification" (which can sometimes be issued with minimal requirements), the training provided is of the highest standard. It has been developed and delivered by experienced professionals who are actively working in the divorce industry. Our program is designed to ensure that you have the practical, emotional, and technical skills necessary to support clients effectively. In the future, our goal is to push for greater formal recognition and accreditation of divorce coaching, and we are actively working towards making that a reality. For now, the knowledge and experience you gain through this program will set you apart in a rapidly growing field, and you will be equipped to offer invaluable support to clients during one of the most challenging times in their lives.
You will have access to a community of fellow students, experienced instructors, and alumni who are available to provide guidance, answer questions, and offer feedback.
