Flexible Attendance

We understand that life happens. If you are unable to attend a scheduled live session, you may attend the same session during one of our future quarterly training offerings to complete that portion of the program.

Certificate of Completion

A Certificate of Completion will be issued upon successful completion of all online coursework and attendance at all required live training sessions.

Participants who miss a live session will be eligible to receive their Certificate of Completion once the missed session has been completed through a future quarterly training offering.

Become a Professional Divorce Coach with Confidence

Breakforward prepares graduates to confidently guide clients through the emotional, organizational, and communication challenges of separation. With an emphasis on real-world application, ethics, and professional readiness, Breakforward equips coaches with the skills, systems, and confidence they need to start working with clients immediately.

This program is officially approved by the Divorce Coaching Association of Ontario (DCAO) and fulfills the educational requirements needed to move toward DCAO Accreditation.

Graduates of Breakforward are eligible to take the next steps toward becoming a DCAO Accredited Divorce Coach.

Intake & Screening for Coaches 5 hrs Divorce Coaching Intakes – How to start with a client & a screening module tailored for Divorce Coaches—helping you spot when coaching is appropriate, when it isn't, and when to refer out.
Family Dynamics 10 hrs Family systems, gatekeeping, blended families, conflict cycles.
Parenting & Child Development 10 hrs Impact of divorce on children, developmental stages, trauma-informed parenting.
High Conflict Personalities 5 hrs Managing emotional intensity, working with high-conflict traits and patterns.
Divorce Financials 10 hrs Discover how to frame financial discussions, identify financial goals, and understand the future impact of financial decisions
Divorce Coaching 20 hrs Intro to DC, Core coaching skills, session structure, ethics, reflective practice, and specific to Canada coaching "Need to knows".
Self-Reflective Practice 5 hrs Explore coping strategies, self-care, compassion fatigue, and resilience.

Total: 70 hours of professional training
